7:30 a.m. arrival of the relic, prayer, convoy to the church, ringing bells, enthronement of the relic with praise songs; 10 a.m. anointing of the sick; 11:30 a.m. potluck lunch; 12 noon meditation and prayers; 6 p.m. Mass, program honoring St. Damien and vigil.

31st:"TriLanai" Off-Road Sprint Triathlon

Showcasing Lanai's natural beauty, this inaugural off-road triathlon will begin at Hulopoe Beach Park with a .750m (1/2-mile) swim. Swimmers mount their mountain bikes at Four Seasons Manele Luau Grounds for a 25Km (16-mile) bike to La Ola, Hawaii's largest solar farm, then into historic Lanai pineapple fields. Looping back to La Ola, bikers race to the transition area where they don their running shoes to complete a 6km (4-mile) run to the finish line. Individual racers are welcome, as well as relay teams. Funds raised support Lanai-based charity organizations.
